JBW was retained to provide engineering and design services for a
new aspiration and ventilation system at a welding and fabrication facility that produces large equipment fixtures.
 

The facility was planning to move and consolidate multiple welding operations to a single building bay and wanted to enclose the bay and ensure proper heat ventilation, makeup air, and aspiration
for the new operations for employee safety & improved building cleanliness.
 

JBW provided a design utilizing some existing equipment saving the
client 20% on the project cost, while still achieving the project objective
of employee comfort and safety. Additionally, JBW performed 3D scans
of the bay and utilized them to clear existing equipment and bridge cranes.
