Natural Gas Skids
JBW was retained to provide engineering and design services for three natural gas skids. One skid was for water separation and two were for metering purposes. Ultimately, the skids would be installed on a natural gas processing facility site.
Our team provided the mechanical design along with the P&ID, equipment/valve specification, skid structure design, and fabrication level isometric drawings auto generated from Plant 3D. Through many iterations, JBW was able to provide constructible and efficient, repeatable designs.
In addition to the structural design, our team worked with the rigging contractor to determine the most efficient way to lift the skids. We also provided construction administration for the fabrication shop and saw the project through to its successful close.
