JBW Consulting Engineers is a consulting engineering firm with locations in Duluth, MN, Gillette, WY, and Sheridan, WY that provides design and engineering services for clients in the industrial, energy, and infrastructure sectors across North America. We are currently searching for a Structural Revit Engineer to join our team. Primary focal points for this position include producing completed computer-generated 3D BIM models and 2D printed representations.

JBW is searching for a Structural Revit Designer to join our team. Primary focal points for this position include producing completed computer-generated 3D BIM models and 2D printed representations. The ideal applicant would be familiar with multiple CAD programs but we are willing to train. Some travel to project sites out of state is expected. Strong communication skills with the project team and clients are essential. Secondary focal points of this position include the ability to work independently on projects while contributing as a team player. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of accountability.
The Structural Revit Designer is responsible for delivering quality project work on time and within the expectations of the client while following JBW's standard BIM procedures for model setup, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout. This role will execute timely and accurate designs for a variety of clients under the supervision of the Design Manager.

Work from Engineer's detailed sketches, notes, and other input materials to produce completed computer-generated 3D BIM models and 2D printed representations.
Understand and follow the Company's standard BIM procedures for model setup, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout.
Understand the scope, schedule, and budget of assigned work.
Flexibility to work on different projects at any given time is essential in this position.
Flexibility to use multiple CAD programs is expected. (ie: Plant 3D, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Inventor, etc.)
Ask questions to ensure comprehension of project requirements.
Respond to communications in a timely manner.
Follow company QA/QC procedures.
Deliver quality project work on time and within the expectations of the client.
Some travel to job sites.
Proven track record as a Revit Designer.
Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software as AutoCAD and Revit.
Advanced MS Office Skills.
Ability to work on several projects concurrently within multi-discipline teams.
Time management and organizational skills.
