Facility Layout Design
JBW was retained to provide equipment layout design for a cheese processing plant and was tasked with creating a general arrangement that would fit two new process lines at the existing facility. The objective was achieved using CAD software and 3D scans to check for interferences between the two process lines and surrounding infrastructure.
Our team worked closely with plant personnel and equipment manufacturers through multiple iterations to develop an arrangement that was functional and met all requirements. Care was taken to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as required by the owner to produce a safe food product. The installation and operation of the new facility are extremely successful.
